Waste is not waste until you waste it

So, how are we doing it?

Bread

Duh. We collect bread that would otherwise go to waste and turn it into beer - bread savings all around the board!

CO2 Emissions

We leverage existing ingredients which are added in the bread; saving carbon dioxide emissions in the production process.

Water

Bread soaks up and retains water, and thus, we are required to add less water into our brews - saving water in the production process too!

Landfill Space

When all this bread comes our way and turns into beer, it does not head to the city’s landfills, so we are able to save landfill space.

But we take sustainability super seriously.

It’s at the core of what we do, so it’s not just the delicious beer you’re drinking that’s sustainable - everything is.

What We Believe In

We switched from glass bottles to cans since HK’s glass recycling is limited. Our recycled cans may dent easily, but we’d rather dent cans than the planet.

Our labels peel off easily for better recycling. Printed with soy-based ink from processed soybeans, technically edible, but we don’t recommend trying.

We deliver by zones on set days to cut emissions. One van, one route, max efficiency, minimal footprint.

We don’t export beer, we export our model. Breer brews locally wherever we go, promoting local production with local ingredients.

Beyond Bread

What started with saving wasted bread grew into transforming fruit peels, local snacks, coffee and more food waste into refreshing Breers.

SLICES REUSED

By using surplus bread to replace barley in the brewing of our delicious craft beer, we are able to save bread from going to waste. This is how much we’ve saved up until today!

CANS SOLD

The bread slices we’ve saved all turn into delicious tasting craft beer - across our distribution channels including bars, bottle shops and restaurants, we’ve sold these many cans. We’re just getting started!
